Charlize Theron and Sean Penn, who began dating about eight months ago, allegedly plan to marry this summer. Charlize and Sean, who are currently filming new movie "The Last Face" together in South Africa, also plan to adopt a child together.
A source told Us Weekly, "They want to get married very soon." The source then added that the "A Million Ways to Die in the West" actress, who already adopted 2-year-old son, Jackson, was "always intended to have another child."
Sean already has two children from his previous marriage to Robin Wright. They are 23-year-old Dylan and 20-year-old Hopper. The source said about the "Milk" actor, "Sean is revitalized with Charlize."
Charlize and Sean were friends of 18 years before they have a romantic relationship. The source said, "Charlize has seen Sean grow up." The source said of the "Gangster Squad" actor, "He's a wiser soul and much more patient." The source then added that Sean "has become a strong role model" to Jackson.
The marriage would be the first for Charlize, who separated from her longtime boyfriend, Stuart Townsend, in 2010. Meanwhile, it would be the third marriage for Sean, who had divorced from Madonna and Robin.
A friend of Sean revealed, "They're looking to the future with a lot of hope!"
