Chongqing Wulong Karst Tourism Co. Ltd. accuses Paramount Pictures and producers of breaching contract and failing to show its logo in the film.

AceShowbiz - Second Chinese company plans to file a lawsuit in Chongqing city against Paramount Pictures and "Transformers: Age of Extinction" for breach of contract. Chongqing Wulong Karst Tourism Co. Ltd. claims the defendants failed to show its logo in the movie as initially promised.
The official Xinhua News Agency reports the company paid an undisclosed sum of money to promote scenic area in southwest China. However, according to marketing manager Li Chu, images of Wulong were combined with scenes shot in Hong Kong and thereby confused audience.
The movie's producers were also at odd with Beijing Pangushi Investment Co Ltd. The company accused the producers of failing to perform contractual obligations that include having a red carpet premiere at one of its hotels. Both parties managed to settle the feud outside the court.
The film debuted atop U.S. box office with over $100 million in late June and remained No. 1 on the second weekend. Overall, it has reached a milestone of $400 million (6 days), $500 million (10 days) worldwide. In China alone, it's poised to beat "Avatar" as the top-grossing movie with a total cume of $212.8 million so far.
