Charlie Hunnam has shaved his beard as he's ready to begin the production for "Sons of Anarchy" season 7. The actor portraying Jax Teller on the FX hit series sports the new look in behind-the-scenes pics from a promo shoot which were shared by FX's Vice President of Media Relations, Dominic Pagone.

Posting the photos on his Twitter, Pagone wrote, "And here he is, Mr. Charlie Hunnam... Now he's ready." He also told fans, "So don't over-analyze the photos, don't speculate; just get excited for the start of season 7!"

He captioned another image which features Hunnam riding a bike from the back, "Of course there has to be riding." He additionally teased, "Ok, you get one spoiler: #Jax is radioactive the season."

Series creator Kurt Sutter recently said the loss of his loved ones would have a major impact on Jax's journey. "I wanted to remove [Jax's] 'True North,' because I feel like there needs to be this major psychic and emotional shift that has to happen. What direction it will push him in we will see next season," he said.

"But what happens to a guy like that now that he's lost both of the people he loves the most, who were able to be his moral compass, with Opie and now Tara. It really is Jax completely untethered and on his own in the final season."

Meanwhile, E! News got the scoop that the upcoming seventh and final season would feature a lot of new faces including "a soldier who doesn't put up with any b.s., an imposing jail guard, and Alice Johnson, an uptight sheriff with an edgy sense of humor."

"Sons of Anarchy" returns with new episodes this fall.
