Amy hurts her back after her solo number, in which she dances a rumba with Derek Hough, and is forced to skip the group number to seek medical attention at a hospital.

AceShowbiz - "Dancing with the Stars" has just eliminated another celebrity contestant. NeNe Leakes, who was in jeopardy along with James Maslow and Charlie White, was sent packing on Monday, April 28.

"I'm so proud of myself and I hope I have inspired women all over the world," she said after learning her fate on the show. "This has been an amazing, positive experience for me." The star of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta", who was paired with pro dancer Tony Dovolani, thanked family, friends, fans and the judges.

Earlier that night, NeNe danced an Argentine tango with Tony, who went shirtless during the number. Guest judge Ricky Martin said she was "floating on the stage, in character," but Len Goodman wasn't impressed by her techniques. The Bravo reality star earned 31 out of 40 points.

James, meanwhile, heated up the ballroom with a hot samba. He bared his abs while his partner Peta Murgatroyd looked sexy in a red garter getup. Bruno Tonioli "loved it," gushing, "That was filthy, that was dirty." The singer/actor earned 35 points.

Charlie, who was declared safe too, aimed for a perfect score with his fiery and passionate paso doble. Dancing with Sharna Burgess, he earned 36 points as Len didn't think it was "special," and Carrie Ann Inaba said he needed more "sharpness."

Danica McKellar, who broke her rib during rehearsal last Friday, was able to dance that night. She and Valentin Chmerkovskiy danced a salsa, joined by four troupe members. Carrie Ann said she seemed "stifled," and Len said it was "a little bit careful," but Ricky praised her determination to stay in the competition. Danica earned 33 points.

Another contestant, Amy Purdy, suffered an injury after her rumba with pro partner Derek Hough. She hurt her back and was in serious pain. She was sent to hospital after finishing the number. The paralympic snowboarder got 36 points for her stunning dance, as Carrie Ann called her "darn sexy, elegant and gracious."

Candace Cameron Bure and Mark Ballas danced an Argentine tango. Her partner took her to see a sports psychologist to figure out why she's so hard on herself week after week. The judges liked her dance and gave her 35 points. "The confidence was there, the lines were nice and crisp," Carrie Ann commented.

Meryl Davis and Maksim Chmerkovskiy were the last pair to dance a solo number. Her salsa blew Carrie Ann away, but Len thought "it was a little hectic." Bruno raved, "I salute you!" She earned 39 points.

All seven pairs were later divided into two teams to dance a group number. Charlie and Sharna, James and Peta, NeNe and Tony were in Team Vida. Bruno noticed "a couple of sync problems," but still called it "incredible fun." Carrie Ann, meanwhile, commented, "The group dance was suppose to be all about sync. But I thought it was high energy." The judges gave them 35 each, which would be added to the score of their solo dance.

Team Loca consisted of Meryl and Maksim, Danica and Val, Amy and Derek, Candace and Mark, but since Amy was in hospital, she skipped the group number. Footage of their dress rehearsal was shown to help the judges decide the scores they would give. Ricky said it was "incredible," while Bruno gushed, "That was slick, spectacular - this is worth a repeat performance." They got additional 39 points.
