The 49th edition of the 'Now That's What I Call Music!' album tops the chart after selling 98,000, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

AceShowbiz - The 49th edition of the long-running "Now That's What I Call Music!" series has landed at No. 1 on this week's Billboard 200. Nielsen SoundScan reported that the compilation record sold 98,000 copies in the week ending February 9.

Featuring hit singles by the artists including Lorde, Pitbull and Miley Cyrus, "Now 49" has dethroned last week's first placer, the soundtrack album of Disney's "Frozen (2013)". After topping the chart for four non-consecutive weeks, the latter set slips to No. 2 with 88,000.

Bruno Mars is still enjoying the success of his performance at the Super Bowl on Sunday, February 2. His latest album, "Unorthodox Jukebox", rises to No. 3 from last week's No. 7 with 81,000. His debut LP, "Doo - Wops & Hooligans", also manages to sell more as it goes up from No. 19 to No. 11 with 26,000.

At No. 4, Toni Braxton and Babyface's collaborative album "Love, Marriage, & Divorce" debuts with 67,000. It marks Braxton's highest-charting album since "Libra", which also debuted (and peaked) at No. 4 back in 2005.

Broken Bells' "After the Disco" and Little Mix's "Salute" are at No. 5 and No. 6 with 44,000 and 43,000 respectively. At No. 7, Beyonce Knowles' self-titled set "Beyonce" descends from No. 5 with 38,000. Lorde's "Pure Heroine" dips from No. 3-8 after selling a little more than 35,000.

At No. 9, the "2014 Grammy Nominees" album plunges from No. 2 with 35,000. Falling one rung, Katy Perry's "Prism" rounds out the top 10 with 27,000.
