Fox is set to reprise his role as Louis Canning in multiple episodes later in the current fifth season of the legal drama series.

Michael J. Fox is not out of job although his sitcom "The Michael J. Fox Show" has been canceled. The actor is booked for a multi-episode arc on CBS' "The Good Wife", reprising his role as Louis Canning in several last episodes of the show's current fifth season.
It's not clear when Fox will start appearing. The Emmy-winning actor has recurred on the legal drama series since 2010 as the manipulative defense lawyer, who has unsuccessfully tried to lure Julianna Margulies' Alicia Florrick to join his firm.
At the recent TCA winter press tour, co-creator Robert King talked about Fox's possible return. "We're trying to make that work," he said. "Because he finished filming ['The Michael J. Fox Show'], so it looks like we're going to get a chance to get him back."
Fox's sitcom completed filming all 22 episodes of the first season last December. NBC, however, decided to pull the freshman show from its schedule after airing only 15 episodes due to low ratings. There's no word whether the remaining episodes will air or not.
