"Nymphomaniac" will be released in two parts, and both have got U.S. release dates. The first part will be available on VOD March 6, 2014 before hitting theaters on March 21, while the second one will arrive in theaters on April 18 after getting a video-on-demand release April 3.

"Nymphomaniac: Part One" will revolve around the story of Joe (Charlotte Gainsbourg), a self-diagnosed nymphomaniac who is badly beaten and left in an alley. She's helped by an older bachelor, Seligman (Stellan Skarsgard), who takes her into his home.

As he tends to her wounds, she recounts the erotic story of her adolescence and young-adulthood (portrayed in flashback by Stacy Martin). Other cast include Shia LaBeouf, Christian Slater, Uma Thurman, Sophie Kennedy Clark, Connie Nielsen and Udo Kier.

"Part Two" will focus on Joe's adulthood. It will star Jamie Bell, Willem Dafoe, Mia Goth and Jean-Marc Barr and also feature Gainsbourg, Skarsgard, Martin and LaBeouf.

Before coming Stateside, Lars von Trier's erotic film will be released in Denmark this coming Christmas Day.
