Ryan Murphy announces the news on Twitter, writing, 'Dianna is IN for Glee 100th!'

AceShowbiz - Dianna Agron is confirmed to return to "Glee" after she last appeared on the show in season 4. Series creator Ryan Murphy broke the news as tweeting on Thursday, December 5, "Dianna is IN for Glee 100th!"

The actress, who has played Quinn Fabray since the pilot of the musical drama series, earlier hinted at her return with a tweet which read, "There will be news today that I think might make many of you happy...it makes me happy too." She later wrote after the announcement, "Going to be fun.... #glee100."

Agron joins Amber Riley, Mark Salling, Heather Morris, Harry Shum Jr. and Kristin Chenoweth who have previously signed up for the milestone episode. The 27-year-old actress didn't appear in the Cory Monteith tribute episode, leading to speculation that she wasn't welcomed back to the set.

She later denied the rumor, saying, "I've nothing but love for that show and everybody involved in it, and it was such a huge part of my life. I think it's equally hard when I'm not there every day anymore... It's more heartbreaking than it would be if I was there with everybody. It makes me feel even farther away from our show."

"Glee" is currently in hiatus after airing "Previously Unaired Christmas" on December 5. The show will return in February, with the 100th outing set to air on March 18, 2014.
