The music video for One Direction's latest single, "Story of My Life", is on the way. On Thursday, October 31, the British/Irish boyband announced the upcoming video's release date in a teaser clip.

The 18-second clip opens with the sound of acoustic guitar. The five boys, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik and Harry Styles, are then seen working on what looks like a dark room. They work with film, develop some photos and later hang them to dry.

At the end of the clip, it's revealed that the anticipated project will be released on Sunday, November 3. One Direction's members have tweeted their excitement. Styles tweeted, "Can't wait for you guys to see the video." Payne then said, "Soooooo excited for you to see the new videooo!"

Simon Cowell recently shared his opinion about One Direction's "Story of My Life" video. The music mogul said on Twitter, "I think the story of my life is the best one d video yet. And I love the record."

Earlier in the week, Horan dished on his and his bandmates' new visuals, telling Capital FM, "It's kinda like the song. It's not very energetic. It kinda explains the story of my life - hence the name of the song."

"Our videos have become a bit of an event so we sit down with whoever's going to direct it and actually have a chat and let them know exactly what we want to do in the video," he added.

"Story of My Life" will be featured in "Midnight Memories", One Direction's album that will be released on November 25 via Sony Music Entertainment. The single will follow up hit "Best Song Ever", which peaked at No. 2 on Billboard 100 earlier this year.
