On Thursday, October 24, country singer Ashley Monroe said "I do" to her fiance, Chicago White Sox pitcher John Danks in Tennessee, in a ceremony officiated by country crooner and "The Voice" coach Blake Shelton. Shelton is associated with the newlyweds by way of his wife Miranda Lambert being in the same country music group with the bride.

Of course, Lambert could not be without a key role in her Pistol Annies pal's wedding entourage, serving as the maid of honor during the Blackberry Farms nuptials, where just a few days earlier, Kelly Clarkson had her own secret weekend wedding to her music manager Brandon Blackstock. Monroe and Danks' wedding happened slightly over a year after they got engaged back in September 2012.

"I'm MARRIED!!! whoohoo," the new Mrs. Danks tweeted along with a back-and-white close-up photo of her left hand wearing her exquisite wedding ring. As for the all-important wedding dress, it was custom-made by one of her favorite designers, Haute Hippie, which she looked stunning in as she arrived to venue in a horse-drawn carriage.

As for the choice of Blackberry Farms as the location for the wedding, it was a place already familiar to her as she grew up just an hour away from it "in the Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee." Although not as private and confidential as Clarkson's 2-guest wedding, Monroe and Danks' wedding was quite intimate too. There were only about 50 people attending made up mostly of family members.
