Dierks Bentley and his wife of eight years, Cassidy, have welcomed their third child to the world. The proud father announced his baby's birth in a Twitter post on October 9, saying that he and wife would call their son Knox. The baby boy joins his big sisters 4-year-old Evie and 2-year-old Jordan.

"Well...our boy Knox is here! about to have the best tasting cold beer of my life! so proud of my wife. she rocked it. crazy stuff. #beerme," the two-time CMT Music Awards winner wrote. "Mad respect for doctors, nurses and everyone at hospitals. can't believe y'all do that day in and day out. hard work making miracles happen," he added in another post.

Back in April, Bentley announced that Cassidy was pregnant with their third child. "So my wife and I will be changing our family defensive strategy come the fall. Switching from man-to-man to zone. #3!" he tweeted, adding, "Advice, Tim McGraw?"

Two months later, he announced via a video message that he and his wife would have a baby boy. The video shows Bentley onstage, asking audience members to guess the sex of his unborn baby and suggest a name. Some names which were brought include Dierks-Anne for a girl and Jack Daniels for a boy. "We're having a boy! Just don't tell anybody, alright?" the "Feel That Fire" singer says in the video.
