AceShowbiz - Kellan Lutz takes a break from "The Expendables 3" filming to introduce a teaser trailer for his new movie "Hercules: The Legend Begins". The sneak peek is released ahead of the full trailer premiere at New York Comic-Con this coming weekend, October 12.
The video shows the titular Demigod, played by the "Immortals" hunk, taking down his weapon-wielding foes in epic hand-to-hand battles. While they are fighting for survival in the gladiator-style arena, a large number of audience are cheering on them from their seats.
The action fantasy film is planned for March 2014 release in the United States. It follows Hercules after he was betrayed by his King and sold into slavery. He now must use his formidable strength to fight for his freedom and return to his true love, Hebe, the Princess of Crete.
A rival project "Hercules: The Thracian Wars" will be released in the same year, July 25. It is directed by Brett Ratner with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson on the lead role.
