Little Mix and Fifth Harmony are joining Demi Lovato on her upcoming Neon Lights tour. During a phone interview on Ryan Seacrest radio show, "On Air With Ryan Seacrest", the judge of "The X Factor (US)" explained her decision to bring the two all-girls groups on the tour.

"I think it's going to be so much fun. There's nothing better than woman empowerment and having an all-girls tour," she said. Little Mix's members were former contestants of British "The X Factor", while Fifth Harmony was formed on "The X Factor (US)". Lovato said that having the two groups from the singing competition on her tour was a coincidence.

"What's ironic is we are all from 'The X Factor' and that wasn't even planned. It just kind of happened that way," she said. "I helped put Fifth Harmony together, and now they're going to be opening for me. It's so awesome."

Demi also explained why she named her tour Neon Lights, saying, "It's my new single, so we wanted to name it after my newest single. And it kind of fits. It's like a party tour. I wanted it to be fun and kind of crazy and exciting. Of all the song titles when I see that I think big party."

Little Mix and Fifth Harmony won't be the only opening acts for Lovato's tour. The 21-year-old singer has tweeted to announce that British singer Cher Lloyd will also support the tour. "So excited that @LittleMixOffic @FifthHarmony and @CherLloyd will be joining me on #TheNeonLightsTour!!! #GIRLPOWER," she wrote.

Lovato's Neon Lights tour will kick off on February 9 in Vancouver, Canada and wrap up on March 30 in Indianapolis.
