AceShowbiz - Amidst the MTV Video Music Awards buzz and later the premiere of their documentary movie "One Direction: This Is Us", rumor mounted that One Direction would perform at the upcoming Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in November. The report was quickly dismissed, though.
A representative for Victoria's Secret says in a statement, "The recent reports regarding One Direction appearing in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show are untrue. The band is not performing in this year's show. We will announce our artists in early October."
Last year, Justin Bieber, Rihanna and Bruno Mars served as performers. Other past musical guests included Kanye West, Jay-Z, Nicki Minaj, Maroon 5, Katy Perry, Black Eyed Peas, Usher, Justin Timberlake, Destiny's Child and Phil Collins.
