Pinette has canceled some of his scheduled shows and rescheduled others as he's seeking the help he needs for his addiction.

AceShowbiz - Comedian John Pinette is seeking help for his addiction with prescription pill. The 49-year-old funnyman is confirmed to have canceled his scheduled appearance at Ontario gaming resort Caesars Windsor on September 18 to check into rehab.
Due to the problem, the "Seinfeld" star has also missed some shows over the weekend. "Thanks to everyone for your concern and well wishes," he tweeted. "Want to apologize for having missed shows last weekend, but I hope you understand! <3."
His upcoming appearance at the Turning Stone Showroom on September 7 this year has been rescheduled for January 24, 2014.
Rumor has it, Pinette took prescribed medication after undergoing surgery earlier this year. The stand-up comedian eventually got hooked and relied heavily on his pill.
