The recently-released featurette for the upcoming ABC show teases the funny as well as passionate side of Clark Gregg's character.

AceShowbiz - A new featurette for "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." gives a Level 7 access with Agent Phil Coulson. It once again teases the return of the character who was thought to be dead. "Am I really gone? I'm not dead," Clark Gregg says of his character in the video.

Agent Coulson's sense of humor is also highlighted as he tells Agent Grant Ward who looks surprised when Coulson suddenly appears in the room, "Sorry, that corner was really dark and I couldn't help myself."

In another moment, Agent Coulson could be so determined and passionate. "Don't ever tell me there's no way. Get it done," he scolds Agent Jemma Simmons, refusing to hear a "no" answer.

On "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.", Agent Phil Coulson returns to assemble a small, highly select group of Agents from the worldwide law-enforcement organization known as S.H.I.E.L.D. Together they investigate the new, the strange, and the unknown across the globe, protecting the ordinary from the extraordinary.

The team consists of straight arrow Agent Grant Ward (Brett Dalton), an expert in combat and espionage; pilot and martial artist Agent Melinda May (Ming-Na Wen); Agent Leo Fitz, an engineer; and Agent Jemma Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge), a genius bio-chemist. They'll be joined by civilian new recruit and computer hacker Skye (Chloe Bennet).

Developed by "The Avengers" helmer Joss Whedon, the show promises a lot of actions. Cobie Smulders will reprise her role as Agent Maria Hill in the pilot set to air Tuesday, September 24 at 8 P.M. on ABC, and will appear occasionally in some other episodes.
