Vince Vaughn is a dad again after wife Kyla Weber gave birth to their second child on Wednesday, August 7, at a hospital outside of Los Angeles. The little boy, who was named Vernon Lindsay Vaughn after the "Wedding Crashers" actor's father, weighed in at 8 lbs., 4 oz. and measured 21 inches long.
"The whole family is so excited to welcome this sweet boy into the world," a friend close to the Vaughns told PEOPLE of the new addition to the family. "I am sure Vince will have Vernon out on the ball field in no time!"
Vaughn and Weber, who exchanged vows in Chicago back in 2010, are already proud parents to 2-year-old Locklyn Kyla Vaughn.
During his visit to "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" last April, Vaughn announced that he and his wife were expecting their second child. "[My wife and I] are expecting our second child. We're excited," Vaughn told host Ellen DeGeneres at the time. "This is the first time I've said anything but yeah, we're very excited."
