A new trailer for "Romeo and Juliet" has dropped online via MTV and gives fans another look at Douglas Booth and Hailee Steinfeld as the titular lovebirds. Staying true to the original story, the movie from director Carlo Carlei retells the romantic yet tragic story of children of the feuding Montague and Capulet families.

Julian Fellowes, the creator of "Downton Abbey", writes the new take on the timeless tale and also serves as one of the producers. Not only does the Relativity Media movie follow the story faithfully, but it also manages to stick with the traditional interpretation as represented by the costumes and settings.

Besides bringing in Booth and Steinfeld, Carlei secures Paul Giamatti as Friar Laurence and Damian Lewis as Lord Capulet. Natasha McElhone, Ed Westwick, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Stellan Skarsgard and Lesley Manville join the cast ensemble for supporting roles.

The movie, which will hit select theaters on October 11 in the U.S., is the latest big-screen adaptation of William Shakespeare's romantic tragedy. The most notable one is arguably Baz Luhrmann's "Romeo + Juliet". In the 1996 pic, Luhrmann introduced Leonardo DiCaprio, who recently reteamed with him in "The Great Gatsby", and Claire Danes as the lovers.
