The 'Heart Attack' singer records the new ballad track for 'The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones' which stars Lily Collins.

AceShowbiz - A first listen to the soundtrack album of upcoming movie "The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones" has arrived. Demi Lovato's new sultry ballad track "Heart by Heart" gets a one-minute snippet ahead of the movie's U.S. premiere on August 21.
"When your soul finds the soul it was waiting for/ When someone walks into your heart through an open door/ When your hand finds the hand it was meant to hold/ Don't let go," she croons. "Someone comes into your world/ Suddenly your world has changed forever."
The soundtrack will be released one day before the Lily Collins-starring film hits theaters. Jessie J, Colbie Caillat, Owl City and AFI are among the artists featured in the upcoming theme song compilation.
