Karen Gillan's unspecified villain role in "Guardians of the Galaxy" is now reportedly revealed. An article supposedly taken from a Glasgow, Scotland newspaper unveils the mystery, saying that the 25-year-old beauty will tackle a character that is quite new in the Marvel universe, Angela the bounty hunter.

Angela was originally a fictional character in Image Comics' "Spawn" series. After confirmed to return to Marvel comics in March, co-creator Neil Gaiman brought the character with him, and now prepares to debut her as a part of Marvel family during the crossover event "Age of Ultron" later this year.

"Karen will be stunning as the chief female villain of the movie," a so-called Marvel insider told the newspaper. "But she will have her work cut out as the role involves a lot of physical workouts and with a costume as revealing, she will have to be in top shape."

Gillan is one of many stars director James Gunn secures for his upcoming film. Headlined by Chris Pratt in his role as Star-Lord, the movie will also be supported by Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Michael Rooker, Glenn Close, Lee Pace and Benicio Del Toro.

As of now, voice actors for CGI heroes Groot and Rocket Raccoon are not announced yet. "Guardians of the Galaxy" is scheduled to open nationwide on August 1, 2014.
