Twelve out of fourteen total tracks in the compilation have been featured in the sampler in 30-second snippets.

AceShowbiz - As Baz Luhrmann's "The Great Gatsby" nears its May 10 premiere and its soundtrack comes even closer to an earlier May 7 release, executive producer Jay-Z shares a preview of his masterpiece via a six-minute sampler containing twelve out of the fourteen total tracks featured. Interscope Geffen A&M Records did the honors of releasing the track sampling, posting it on their YouTube account.

In equal 30-second snippets, each of the twelve tracks featured in the soundtrack's standard edition is included in the sampler. It kicks off with will.i.am's "Bang Bang", Stacy Ferguson a.k.a Fergie's "A Little Party Never Killed Nobody (All We Got)" featuring Q-Tip and GoonRock, and Lana Del Rey's "Young & Beautiful" before giving a sneak peek into the rest of the tracks which include a familiar "Crazy in Love" jazzed-up by Emeli Sande and The Bryan Ferry Orchestra.

The sampler also features exclusive artwork from the album packaging including the one with the album credits and the cover of its deluxe edition plus Del Rey's single art, as well as scenes from the movie prominently showcasing the movie's lead actor Leonardo DiCaprio. Fans would have to get a copy of the deluxe edition of the soundtrack to hear Jay-Z's "100$ Bill" and Beyonce Knowles and Andre Benjamin a.k.a Andre 3000's cover of the Amy Winehouse song "Back to Black", which are unfortunately excluded from the sampler.

Along with the soundtrack preview, "Gatsby" also released an extended TV spot inviting viewers to get ready for "the summer of Gatsby", which played out to Fergie's "A Little Party Never Killed Nobody (All We Got)".
