Queen Bey will perform live in the charity show that benefits women's health, education and justice around the world.

AceShowbiz - Pop/R 'n' B diva Beyonce Knowles will headline Gucci's international campaign "Chime for Change Presents: The Sound of Change Live", a charity concert to be held on June 1 in London and to be broadcast worldwide. The 31-year-old entertainer will perform live and serve as an artistic director for the event that intends to raise funds for both young and adult women's empowerment.

"Our goal is to call for change for girls and women in the loudest voice possible," Mrs. Carter said. "I am excited for us to come together on June 1 to bring the issues of education, health and justice for girls and women to the world stage."

The charity show will also feature other top acts as Florence and the Machine, R 'n' B crooner John Legend and British singer Ellie Goulding. Other performers lined up for the Twickenham Stadium concert are Haim, Iggy Azalea, Laura Pausini, Rita Ora and Timbaland.

Aside from the music, the Salma Hayek-backed special will also show inspirational short films highlighting current women's global issues. Gucci is said to underwrite the costs for staging the event so that all proceeds from the ticket sales can go to charity.

Gucci creative director and "Chime for Change" co-founder Frida Giannini led the call for change as saying, "This is the emergency and the opportunity of today...I hope that The Sound of Change Live will help the voices calling for change to become so loud that they cannot be ignored."
