Most of the guys, including Vincent, don't meet the expectations on the Wednesday performance show, but Burnell, Curtis and Devin manage to impress the judges.

AceShowbiz - The Top 10 guys of "American Idol" season 12 took the stage on the live show Wednesday, March 6. Same to the Top 10 girls who performed the night before, they were fighting for the spots in the final round.

Elijah Liu was the lucky number one, covering Rihanna's "Stay". Already a fan of Elijah, Nicki Minaj said, "I think I would be willing to stay. I liked it... You look very marketable and I could imagine seeing your face on blankets and cups." Mariah Carey agreed that he's "very sale-able." Randy Jackson also liked it, while Keith Urban said the song suited Elijah's voice.

Cortez Shaw did Bruno Mars' "Locked Out of Heaven", but Keith wasn't sure the song was the best for him. Randy noticed that his high notes were "a little under," as Mariah thought Elijah should have dropped the key of the song.

Charlie Askew picked Genesis' "Mama", and Keith said something about him "feels not fully genuine." Nicki wanted her "cute, cuddly Charlie back," while Randy said, "It didn't all connect at all for me tonight... Might not be the right time for that move." Mariah, however, appreciated that he brought diversity to the show.

Nick Boddington sat behind a piano while belting out Goo Goo Dolls' "Iris". For Keith, the song choice was "perfect," though he noticed some "issues in certain spots." Nicki thought Nick was in his comfort zone, while Randy called it "a good, solid performance."

Burnell Taylor reprised his performance of "I'm Here" from "The Color Purple", which he did during the audition. "I loved it, I loved it, I loved it," Keith raved. Nicki commented, "You were born to do this... That struggle and that pain in your voice is undeniable." Randy and Mariah also loved it that he re-did the song.

Christina Aguilera's "Just a Fool" was Paul Jolley's choice and he showed improvement from last week. Keith offered some advice, "You could just ease it in a little bit more. I feel you keep underestimating the quality of your voice." Calling it a "solid performance," Nicki said she "didn't find a problem with it."

Lazaro Arbos delivered his version of "Feelin' Good". Keith, judging from audience's reaction, predicted that Lazaro would stay on the show, as Nicki praised his "very strong vocal." Randy Jackson exclaimed Lazaro was "in it to win it." Mariah complained that the song "a bit too low" for him.

Curtis Finch Jr. went with R. Kelly's "I Believe I Can Fly". Keith raved, "You just ooze everything good and light and godly." Nicki said, "You have a calling on your life to bless people and to do so much good," while Mariah admitted it was "what I needed in this moment in my life right now."

Devin Velez performed "It's Impossible" by Perry Como and he got rave reviews. Keith noted, "The very beginning was a little shaky," but praised his beautiful voice. Nicki commented, "Congratulations, kudos, I think you're stepping into your own," as Mariah gushed, "That performance was incredible."

Vincent Powell was the last performer of the night, singing Boyz II Men's "The End of the Road". Keith thought "his nerves got on top of your talent" tonight, but hoped America would save him. "You wasn't sitting on it right tonight," Nicki added. "Still a great voice, but I don't think that song helps your voice." Randy said, "I think you overshot it just a little bit," but Mariah said there were "moments of brilliance in that performance."
