The 'Django Unchained' director uses the controversial word backstage after collecting Best Screenplay at the Tina Fey and Amy Poehler-hosted show.

AceShowbiz - Quentin Tarantino seemed to have had enough of people questioning his use of N-words in his movie "Django Unchained". The director/actor/producer defied his critics by uttering the phrase himself backstage at the 70th annual Golden Globe Awards after winning Best Screenplay.
To the press, the triumphant movie veteran noted people didn't criticize him for using it "more than it was used in the South in 1858," but "they think I should soften it, that I should lie, that I should massage." The 49-year-old added, "I would never do that when it comes to my characters."
Quentin won Best Screenplay, beating Chris Terrio ("Argo"), Tony Kushner ("Lincoln"), David O. Russell ("Silver Linings Playbook"), and Mark Boal ("Zero Dark Thirty"). He accepted the coveted award from presenters Amanda Seyfried and Robert Pattinson.
The movie also helped Christoph Waltz win Best Supporting Actor, beating Alan Arkin ("Argo"), Leonardo DiCaprio ("Django Unchained"), Philip Seymour Hoffman ("The Master") and Tommy Lee Jones ("Lincoln").
"Quentin, you know that my indebtedness to you knows no words," so Chris said during his acceptance speech.
