The gang of blues rockers talk about frustration and political conflicts in their newest clip for the track 'Doom and Gloom'.

Legendary rock group The Rolling Stones continue to show off their sharply-fanged guitar riffs in the new video for the single "Doom and Gloom". The track is taken from the band's greatest hits album "GRRR!" released last November 12 and is their first recording together in seven years.
The video kicks off with a familiar opening riff from guitar god Keith Richards and Mick Jagger quickly jumps into the performance with his narration of a dream he had last night, which then starts a surreal series of disjointed clips from hard partying, airplane crashes, zombie encounters, and ending up in the ditch.
As the video proceeds, the lyrics and the visuals become more hard-hitting and political. The band tackle economic inequality, warfare, and a whole lot of frustration from the bleak world surrounding them. However, they do suggest a cure of love or lust at the end when Jagger sings, "Come on, baby, won't you dance with me."
Grammy-winning video director Jonas Akerlund helmed the "Doom and Gloom" video for the world's greatest rock 'n' roll band. Akerlund also tackled the directing work for Madonna's "Ray of Light" video.
The Rolling Stones are set to play at New York's Barclay's Center on Saturday, December 8 as part of their 50th anniversary tour. Their London and New Jersey show dates have already sold out.
