Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Cee-Lo Green and Christina Aguilera lose two of their proteges each in the last part of The Playoffs.

AceShowbiz - It was down to 12 in the Thursday, November 8 episode of "The Voice". After 20 contestants performed in the previous two Playoff shows, 8 of them were sent home in the latest result show.

In Team Adam Levine, Amanda Brown and Bryan Keith got the most votes and automatically secured their places in the next round, leaving Loren Allred, Joselyn Rivera and Melanie Martinez in jeopardy. "No one is better than the other, I dont believe that," the rocker said before choosing to keep Melanie.

Terry McDermott and Cassadee Pope of Team Blake Shelton were saved by viewers' votes, forcing the country music crooner to choose among Michaela Paige, Liz Davis and Julio Cesar Castillo. "I think any one of y'all could go on and win this thing," Blake told the three singing hopefuls, but eventually decided to save Michaela.

Of all Christina Aguilera's proteges, Dez Duron and Sylvia Yacoub got the most votes from viewers. The pop diva said, "Don't let anyone or anyone's opinion define who you are," before revealing that she kept Adriana Louise and sent home Devyn Deloera and De'borah.

Next, Cee-Lo Green had to pick between Diego Val, Mackenzie Bourg and Cody Belew after people's votes saved Trevin Hunte and Nicholas David from elimination. "If one of us wins, all of us wins," the Gnarls Barkley star delivered his little speech, before sending Cody through to the next round.

Before the results were announced, Team Adam took the stage with Team Blake to sing Kelly Clarkson's "Stronger". Team Cee-Lo and Team Christina, meanwhile, joined forces to perform Train's "Drive By".
