Quentin Tarantino's "Django Unchained" unleashes a brand new trailer, which boasts multiple new humorous and action-packed scenes. More scenes that see Leonardo DiCaprio's antics, Christoph Waltz's brutal actions and Jamie Foxx's dramatic moments with Kerry Washington are highlighted in the video. It also reveals a first ever look at Jonah Hill's character. His short-but-hilarious sequence is inserted amid Foxx's action scenes.

"Django Unchained" is set in the South two years before the Civil War. It follows Foxx's titular character, a freed slave who, under the tutelage of a German bounty hunter King Schultz (Waltz), becomes a bad-ass bounty hunter himself. After assisting Schultz in taking down some bad guys for profit, Django tracks down his slave wife (Washington) and liberates her from an evil plantation owner Calvin Candie (DiCaprio).

Tarantino recently told Total Film why he picked Foxx to play Django, a role which was also eyed by Will Smith. "You just know when you meet the guy and I met the guy," the Oscar-winning filmmaker said. "And one of the things about him, aside from everything else about Jamie, just when it comes to this movie, he just got it. He just understood."

"He understood what I was writing, he understood what needed to be there and he understood what needed to be on screen and he understood how people should take it," the Tennessee native continued. "But then, also, just to cut to the chase, he was the cowboy. I met six guys, six magnificent actors, but he was the cowboy and I was looking for the cowboy."

"Django" will make its way out onto the U.S. cinemas on December 25, in time for Christmas Day. The Western movie also has Walton Goggins, Dennis Christopher, Zoe Bell, Laura Cayouette, M.C. Gainey, Don Johnson, Tom Savini, James Remar and Tom Wopat lining up in the cast ensemble.
