Luke Evans Gets Offer to Play Villain in 'Fast Six', Rihanna Denies Casting Rumor

While Riri's rep denies the Bajan singer is courted to play the villainess in the sixth 'Fast and Furious' film, it is now reported that Evans is offered to replace Jason Statham as the bad guy.

AceShowbiz - While it has recently been rumored that Rihanna is circling a villainous role in "Fast and Furious 6", it is now reported that another actor is offered to play the baddie. Twitch has the words that "The Raven" thesp Luke Evans is courted to tackle the antagonist in the next "Fast" movie.

The Wales-born actor is eyed to take over the bad guy role, which was previously turned down by Jason Statham last April. Should the report be true, the "Immortals" star is set to join Vin Diesel and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson in adventuring around England, where the movie is expected to be shot.

As for Riri, her representative has denied The Sun's report that the R&B sensation is eyed to star as the villainess in the untitled Fast and Furious 6. Debunking the rumor, the rep told MTV News, "As far as I'm aware this is not true."

While Riri won't appear as the eye candy in the forthcoming film, it has been confirmed earlier on Monday, May 1 that Michelle Rodriguez will return to the franchise. Variety broke the news that the "Machete" actress will reprise her role as Letty in both sixth and seventh "Fast" films.

To be directed by Dustin Lin, the "Fast and Furious 6" has been scheduled to arrive in the U.S. theaters on May 24, 2013. Words are, the sixth movie will be shot back-to-back with the seventh one.
