Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon have celebrated the first birthday of their twin babies, and a recently-released photo gives a sneak peek at the lavish bash. The picture taken by Bill Boatman displays Moroccan and Monroe, who are carried around in their parents' arm, being decked out in an ivory suit and a white dress with floral pattern detail respectively.
The birthday party itself took place at the Plaza Athenee in Paris, France on Sunday, April 29, two days after Mariah and Nick renewed their wedding vows for the fourth time. According to PEOPLE, pink and blue balloons, custom-made French pastries, confetti and lots of toys were prepared for the festivity attended by several close friends.
Monroe and Moroccan actually turned 1 year old on Monday, April 30. Mariah tweeted after performing in Austria, "Singing at this altitude is almost like giving birth to twins, which I did last year on this day.. lol! Happy birthday dembabies!!" Her husband, Cannon, also took to his Twitter, "One of the happiest days of my life! Watching my wife on stage on our 4th anniversary & celebrating our kids 1st birthday!"
