A video that shows Adam Lambert rocking Logo's NewNowNext Awards has hit the web. During the event, the 2009 runner-up of "American Idol" performed the title track of his second studio album "Trespassing", which will come out in the United States on May 15.
"TRESPASSING is ElectroFunkStepEmoPOP realness.... Getting all mixes back... sounding massive. get ready to dance this summer Glamberts," Lambert tweeted. He came to the awards show, which was taped in Los Angeles on Thursday, April 5, with his boyfriend Sauli Koskinen.
The event was hosted by Kelly Osbourne. In addition to featuring Lambert's performance, it also had Neon Trees, Rye Rye and Brink-of-Fame: Music Artist winner Neon Hitch as musical guests. Also grabbing a prize each were "The Hunger Games" star Josh Hutcherson (Next Mega Star) and "Glee" actress Naya Rivera (Cause You're Hot).
A few days before the NewNowNext Awards, Lambert confirmed the cancellation of a gig where he's supposed to perform with Queen. "While I'm sad that the Sonisphere festival has been cancelled, I'm hopeful that Queen and I will share a stage again someday in the future," he wrote.
