Married couple Rachel and Dave decide to pass on Detour after failing to build a watermelon pyramid in this third leg, which is won by border patrol agents Art and JJ.

AceShowbiz - In the latest episode of "The Amazing Race", nine remaining teams continued their journey by heading to Asuncion, Paraguay. Rachel & Dave started first, but they were joined by Art & JJ, Bopper & Mark and Nary & Jamie on the first plane. The other teams took the second flight which was two hours behind the first one.
As soon as they arrived, the teams faced Detour in which they had to choose between Stacked Up and Strung Out. In Stacked Up, teams must make a 10-by-10 pyramid of watermelons. In Strung Out, meanwhile, teams must properly string a harp, Paraguay's national instrument.
All four teams who were on the first plane opted for the watermelon challenge, but only Art & JJ who handled the task well. They completed it first and headed to Plaza De La Democrazia. Meanwhile, Rachel & Dave's watermelon pyramid fell apart and they decided to do the other challenge, with Bopper & Mark and Nary & Jane right behind them.
Finding out that the harp challenge was also difficult, Rachel & Dave decided to use their Express Pass and headed straight to Roadblock. In the meantime, Elliott & Andrew were still trying to string a harp when Rachel R. & Brendon completed the task, followed by Bopper and Mark.
Back at the Stacked Up, Joey & Danny finally completed their watermelon pyramid, but Vanessa & Ralph's pyramid crashed to the ground. When Vanessa wanted to switch to the other challenge, Ralph convinced her to stay to give an example to his daughter in finishing what he started.
For the Roadblock, one team member must perform a choreographic routine with a bottle on their head. If they broke all provided bottles, they would be incurred a 2-hour penalty. After breaking a few bottles, Art completed the challenge and headed to the Escalinata de Antequera monument with JJ. They arrived first at the pit stop and won a trip to the Bahamas while the other teams were still way behind them.
Dave broke all the bottles and incurred a two hour penalty for him and Rachel. Meanwhile, Rachel R. completed the challenge and headed to the pit stop with Brendon. They were declared team number two.
Danny & Joey arrived next, followed by Mary & Bopper in the fourth place, and Nary & Jamie in the fifth place. Rachel & Dave were declared team number six with Kerri & Stacey and Vanessa & Ralph following behind them. Elliot & Andrew were the last team to arrive and they were eliminated.
