Justin Bieber lends his famous face to his newly-signed artist, Carly Rae Jepsen. Together with his girlfriend Selena Gomez, Disney star Ashley Tisdale and Jepsen's other friends, Bieber appears in a new music video for "Call Me Maybe".

Jepsen, a Canadian idol, was recently signed to Bieber's manager Scooter Braun's Schoolboy Records. "I teamed up with Scooter Braun and Jimmy Iovine. When I was in Canada, I heard a song on the radio called 'Call Me Maybe,' and I thought it was a smash. So I started doing my research and stuff and found out who it was. Her name is Carly Rae Jepsen and I want everyone to know we signed her, so everyone can check her out. She's gonna blow up," Bieber said.

Jepsen excitedly cried when Bieber called her on the phone. "I'm speechless. It's an exciting journey we're going on," she said of her contract with Schoolboy Records, "and I'm very grateful and very excited."

Jepsen actually had shot a music video for "Call Me Maybe" and released it in December last year. The song itself went platinum after its release last September. Meanwhile, her EP "Curiosity" was released on Valentine's Day by Vancouver-based 604 Records.
