Madonna is famous for her outrageous style, and it seems that her teenage daughter is well on the way of following her footsteps. On Thursday, February 9, Lourdes Leon was caught on camera rocking an edgy look by debuting her half-shaved head when stepping out in New York City.

During the Thursday outing, the 15-year-old was spotted dressed in a black puffy jacket and ripped leggings. Pulling her dark locks into an undone bun, she gave a good look at the right side of her head, which has been buzzed from the ear up to the temple. The style itself was made popular by "Me & U" singer Cassie in 2009.

While it isn't clear whether Madonna approves her funky new look, Lourdes revealed back in 2010 that her famous mother wasn't keen on her drastic hair makeover idea. "I want royal blue hair but not a streak, like my entire head," she wrote on her blog. "I read this blog aloud to my mother and she is sitting here staring at me with no expression on her face, as if she doesn't approve of it!"
