If there were such thing as best friends after divorce then it would be Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter. The former couple and "Dexter" co-stars has fueled reconciliation rumors after pictures of them cuddling in Santa Monica, California surfaced.
Hall and Carpenter, who got married in December 2008 and split in January 2011, have been seen together outside "Dexter" set for a number of times just a month after their divorce was finalized in December 2011. A source even claimed "Michael and Jennifer were seated at a dimly lit corner table, sipping wine" last month in Beverly Hills.
Although no proof of the dinner is available, their intimacy is captured in several new photos. Hall and Carpenter took a sunset stroll on Wednesday, February 8, heading to the Venice beach and watching the sun went down. They laughed, walked arm-in-arm and snuggled.
Carpenter said in October last year that separation is not the end of their relationship. "He is and always will be one of my best friends in the world. Just because the marriage ended doesn't mean the love isn't still there," she told 'The Today Show'. "We take very good care of each other ...we always have. I'm just really lucky."
