Beyonce Knowles has finally made her first public appearance since giving birth to daughter Blue Ivy Carter. The "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)" hitmaker stepped out in New York City on Monday, February 6 night in support of husband Jay-Z, and she looked gorgeous in red.
Showing off her post-baby body at Jigga's Carnegie Hall concert, the 30-year-old R&B diva opted to go with a figure-hugging red dress by Alice Temperley. She completed her evening look with Ofira & Lorraine Schwartz jewelry, an Alexander McQueen clutch, and a pair of Christian Louboutin heels.
Queen Bey gave birth to Blue Ivy on January 7. In a joint statement, she and her music mogul husband described their daughter's birth as "emotional and extremely peaceful." Saying they "are in heaven," they added, "We are thankful to everyone for all your prayers, well wishes, love and support."
Jigga himself took the stage at the historic venue on Monday for the first of his two back-to-back concerts benefiting the United Way of New York City and the Shawn Carter Scholarship Foundation. During his 90-minute set, the rapper delivered his first live performance of "Glory", the song he dedicated to his new baby girl.
