At the last minute before the official lineup was announced, Ozzy Osbourne and his bandmates reportedly decided to scrap their headlining bill.

Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward were initially among the headliners for 2012 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, it's reported. The reunited members of Black Sabbath, however, were forced to pull out of the gig just before the official lineup announcement was made on Monday, January 9.

According to multiple sources from Billboard, the heavy metal group canceled their scheduled performance due to Tony's recent lymphoma diagnosis. The guitarist will now undergo treatment and his bandmates will move from Los Angeles to London so that they still can work on their reunion album with him.

The annual Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival will expand its 3-day extravagant into 6-day gig this year. It will be held on two consecutive weekends; April 13-15 and April 20-22. The Black Keys will headline the first days, Radiohead will front the second days, while Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg will take over on the third days.
