Rumor has it, Warner Bros. Pictures has made a wish-list that includes Kloves as well as Travis Beacham and Lawrence Kasdan to pen the script for the possible Superman sequel project.

"Man of Steel" is still two years away from its U.S. release, but Warner Bros. Pictures might have already planned a sequel. Words are, the studio has had a wish list for the film's screenwriters, which includes "Harry Potter" and "The Amazing Spider-Man" scribe Steve Kloves as the top pick.
According to a report on Think McFly Think, Warners is also eyeing Travis Beacham, who penned the script for "Clash of the Titans" and "Pacific Rim", and Lawrence Kasdan, who serves as the scribe for upcoming "Paradise Lost". However, no official talks have been made with those writers.
"Man of Steel" is currently still shooting in Canada with David S. Goyer providing the screenplay. "300" director Zack Snyder tackles the helming duty, while "The Dark Knight Rises" helmer Christopher Nolan serves as the producer. The movie is slated for a June 14, 2013 release in theaters nationwide.
The upcoming Superman reboot stars Henry Cavill as the Kryptonian superhero, Amy Adams as his leading lady Lois Lane, Russell Crowe and Ayelet Zurer as his Kryptonian parents, Kevin Costner and Diane Lane as his adoptive parents, as well as Michael Shannon as villainous General Zod.
