A new theatrical trailer for "Melancholia" has hit the web. The promotional video that comes out via Yahoo! Movies puts its focus on the mesmerizing cinematography by Manuel Alberto Claro in addition to presenting a look at the sumptuous party to celebrate Justine and Michael's wedding in the home of her sister and brother-in-law.
Directed by Danish filmmaker Lars von Trier, this sci-fi infused drama centers its story on the relationship between Justine and Claire. Set against the backdrop of a planet called Melancholia on a path to collide with Earth, it follows the two sisters as they deal with depression and the end of the world.
"Melancholia" stars Kristen Dunst as Justine and Charlotte Gainsbourg as Claire. Supporting the two in the cast ensemble are Alexander Skarsgard as Justine's husband and Kiefer Sutherland as Claire's. The movie will be released on VOD in the U.S. on October 7, before it opens in limited theaters on November 11.
