20th Century Fox has released the first full trailer for "Rise of the Planet of the Apes" following the teaser which has been debuted earlier. The new preview is unveiled to the world via Apple. It features James Franco giving description about his experiments, having no idea that Caesar will lead other apes to break out of the laboratory and vanquish the town.

"Rise of the Planet of the Apes" will tell a story of how a genetic engineering experiment leads to the creation of intelligence in apes and causes an inevitable conflict between species. Franco's Will Rodman becomes a crucial figure in the war between humans and apes after he makes a breakthrough while studying the development of intelligence in apes. The story is set in contemporary San Francisco.

Andy Serkis is cast as Caesar, the intelligent ape that will provoke the revolt against human, while John Lithgow and Freida Pinto play Franco's Alzheimer-stricken father and primatologist Caroline respectively. Tom Felton is additionally cast in the film to play Dodge.

Other actors supporting the sci-fi film include Brian Cox, David Hewlett, Tyler Labine, Sonja Bennett, David Oyelowo, Leah Gibson, and Jamie Harris. Rupert Wyatt serves behind the lens for "Rise of the Planet of the Apes", which will make its way out Stateside on August 5. Rick Jaffa, Amanda Silver and Jamie Moss team up to write the script.
