"Diary of a Wimpy Kid 2: Rodrick Rules" tops North American Box Office this weekend. The comedy film grosses $23.7 million in ticket sales, and earns an A- grade from CinemaScore, while younger viewers give it an A. Nearly 60|percent| of the audience are under the age of 18.
"Sucker Punch" lands in the second place by earning $19 million. The film that stars Emily Browning and Vanessa Hudgens earns poor B- grade from CinemaScore. Gaining a low domestic ticket sales, the action-fantasy movie obtains poor overseas revenue as well with an approximately $7.4 million from 2,145 screens.
Last-week champion "Limitless" takes third place this weekend. The Neil Burger-directed movie grosses $15 million, or dropping about 20.4|percent| in its second weekend. The revenue earns the techno-thriller film its domestic cumulative for about $41.1 million.
In the meantime, "The Lincoln Lawyer" stays in the fourth place, collecting $10.7 million this weekend. "Rango" drops to number five after the animated movie obtains only $9.8 million.
