AceShowbiz - Super Bowl spot for "Drive Angry" has been unleashed earlier before it is aired on TV this Sunday. It boasts the combination of 3-D and action scenes which can been enjoyed best in theaters. While there are not many new scenes shared, the snippet tries to further convince audience by featuring some positive quotes from critics reviews with one of them saying it is "Nicolas Cage at his action-packed best".
The film follows Cage's Milton who has to chase the people who murdered his daughter and kidnapped her baby within three days before they sacrifice his infant granddaughter beneath a full moon. He is joined by Piper, a young sexy-smart waitress who liberates her ex-boyfriend's cherry red muscle car in order to help Milton.
Soon, the police are after him. But that is not the worst for The Accountant, hell's right-hand man, relentlessly pursues Milton with wicked cunning and hypnotic savagery to get him back to hell.
Amber Heard co-stars Cage as Piper while William Fichtner plays The Accountant. Directed by Patrick Lussier who also writes the script along with Todd Farmer, "Drive Angry" is due February 25 in the U.S.
