AceShowbiz - Demi Lovato is surely a happy birthday girl as she was showered with lots of love from her crew, family and fans on her big day. Demi, who turned 18 on Friday, August 20, got a surprise chocolate cake from her excited fans after spending some time with them, signing autographs and taking pictures.
Demi, who walked into a room filled with fans and crew, was excited after learning that the cake complete with flaming candles has waited for her. As "cute" fans sang a birthday anthem for her, Demi started blowing out the candles and later took a bite of the chocolate cake.
Later that night, Demi continued her birthday celebration in a party at Buddakan, New York City with her friends and family. For the bash, Demi kept it simple in a black skintight bandage dress and a couple of bracelets. She was presented with a big triple chocolate cake. Her ex-boyfriend Joe Jonas was also present at the party.
Demi didn't only receive a gift but also give it away on her special day. The "Camp Rock" star revealed to People, "I just bought a (Mediterranean style) house. For me to give [that] to my family on my birthday, that was the best present," adding "It's got pretty much everything you could possibly imagine in it. It's the most beautiful, homey-feeling house. I love it."
