The stars of "Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam" came out to make a promotional appearance for the "Camp Rock" sequel. Demi Lovato stood next to her ex-lover and co-star Joe Jonas while doing the red carpet, joined also by Joe's brothers Kevin Jonas, Frankie Jonas and Nick Jonas as well as other castmates such as Alyson Stoner and Matthew 'Mdot' Finley.

The premiere was held on Wednesday, August 18 at Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center in New York where fans were allowed to watch behind glass. Making a special appearance were Mickey and Minnie Mouse who gave Demi a quick kiss on the cheek.

"Camp Rock 2" would premiere on Disney Channel on September 3 at 8/7c. Mitchie can't wait to return to Camp Rock so that she and rock star Shane Gray can spend the summer making music and having fun with their friends. But when Mitchie arrives, she discovers that Camp Star, a slick new camp across the lake, has lured many campers and instructors away, threatening the very existence of Camp Rock.
