Hayden Panettiere and Rory Culkin Also Confirmed for 'Scream 4'

Panettiere and Culkin join Emma Roberts who has been previously cast in the film, playing her best friend and potential love interest.

AceShowbiz - Other stars have been added to the cast line-up for "Scream 4". After Emma Roberts was announced to take a lead role, Dimension Films has also confirmed that Hayden Panettiere and Rory Culkin join the film.

The "Heroes" actress was previously said to play a nerdy film geek who is a best friend of Jill, played by Roberts. Culkin, meanwhile, was reported to portray a potential love interest for Jill. Roberts' character itself has been said as one of the film's primary heroines.

Together, the three will fight alongside original major cast members, Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox as well as David Arquette, who will reprise their roles as Sidney Prescott, Gale and Dewey respectively.

Wes Craven who directed the previous three "Scream" films is set to return to the helming position when shooting begins in Michigan this July, with the script provided by Kevin Williamson who wrote for "Scream" and "Scream 2". "Scream 4" is expected to come out on April 15, 2011.

Beside famous for her role as Claire Bennet in TV series "Heroes", Hayden Panettiere has also starred in a number of feature films such as "Bring It On: All or Nothing" and "I Love You, Beth Cooper". As for Rory Culkin, the brother of Macaulay Culkin previously played in "Igby Goes Down" and will be seen in upcoming "Twelve".
