'Men in Black 3' to Get Jemaine Clement as 'Charmy and Creepy' Villain

The 'Flight of the Conchords' star's role is among other new villainous characters whose details are kept under wraps.

AceShowbiz - "Men in Black 3" is close to add another name on its cast line-up. Reports say Jemaine Clement is currently in final negotiations with Columbia Pictures to star as one of the villains in the upcoming film.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Clement's character is named Boris who is described "as being charmy and creepy at the same time." The said character was previously called Yaz, but the site notices that the name may change again since the script is still polished.

Will Smith has signed a deal to reprise his role as Agent Jay with Josh Brolin allegedly starring as a younger version of Tommy Lee Jones' Agent Kay. Meanwhile, most of the new casting will be the villains, whose identities, look and super-abilities are being kept under wraps.

Barry Sonnenfeld who directed the first two "Men in Black" films has agreed to return to the same position for the third installment. Etan Cohen and David Koepp provide the script, which will feature a time travel element that moves the action from contemporary back to 1969. This Walter F. Parkes and Laurie MacDonald-produced flick is set to hit U.S. theaters on May 25, 2012.

Jemaine Clement is best known for starring on TV comedy "Flight of the Conchords" along with Bret McKenzie. He provides voice in upcoming animation "Despicable Me" and lands a role in Steve Carell-starring movie "Dinner for Schmucks" which will open wide in the U.S. on July 23.
