Matt Damon Coming to '30 Rock'
TV

On top of his game, the 'Bourne' actor answers Tina Fey's demand to have him appear on the sitcom.

Tina Fey successfully captured Matt Damon to star on "30 Rock". The producer/writer/actress said in December 2009 that Damon was one of the actors on top of her list for a guest on the show, and it has just been confirmed that her wish is coming true.

Not one single information like whether he plays himself or a character is released. However, a rep for the actor confirmed to Gossip Cop that he is going to be part of the sitcom's final episodes which may as well take place in May.

Damon himself was enthusiastic when told that Fey wanted him. "I would do [30 Rock] in a heartbeat if they asked me to come on," the actor said back then. "She should call my people - or even better me. Or I could call her. Let's make this happen."

Matt Damon has just received American Cinematheque award on Saturday, March 27. Fellow actors like Ben Affleck, George Clooney, Robin Williams, Sarah Silverman, Charlize Theron and Greg Kinnear paid tribute to Damon either by attending the ceremony or sending a video message.
