Susan Boyle Stays Firm at No. 1, Scoring Highest Second Week Sales

Susan Boyle's debut album 'I Dreamed a Dream' scans 527,000 copies in its second week on sale, breaking another U.S. record.

AceShowbiz - Susan Boyle holds the top position on Billboard Hot 200 with her debut album "I Dreamed a Dream" which sells additional 527,000 copies this week. The impressive number gives the album, which was released on November 23, the highest second week sales of the year.

One step down, there is Andrea Bocelli's "My Christmas" which remains the runner-up on the chart for four weeks in row, thanks to another 428,000 units shifted. It surpasses a million in total sales in its fifth week (1.12 million) and becomes his best-selling album since pulling in 1.66 million with the release of "Amore" in 2006.

Sitting at No. 3, meanwhile, is Taylor Swift's "Fearless". The record which is vying for Album of the Year and Best Country Album at 2010 Grammy Awards jumps five spots from No. 8 with 127,000. The only new release which successfully cracks this week's Top 10 is R. Kelly's latest studio album "Untitled" which arrives at No. 4 with 114,000 copies sold. Rounding up the Top 5 is Lady GaGa's debut album "The Fame" with 84,000 (down 45|percent|).
