The site claimed they have learned that Screen Gems will postpone the release date of the movie from its original schedule on August 27, 2010 to January 14, 2011, to give more time to director Paul W.S. Anderson to finish the film.

Additionally, the site reported the studio has planned to fill the empty summer slot with another movie. Thus, vampire thriller "Priest" that stars Paul Bettany is said to be moved up from its original release date on October 1, 2010 to August 27, 2010.
