"The Hills" star, according to her lawyer, is willing to "serve a 30-day stint in live-in rehab" in order to avoid being imprisoned as a result of her DUI case.

AceShowbiz - Stephanie Pratt was absent from a scheduled court appearance on Friday, November 13 that stemmed from her DUI arrest in October, but it is reported that her lawyer Jon Bryant Artz has entered a not-guilty plea on her behalf. In lieu of a possible six months jail time she is facing, Stephanie is willing to "serve a 30-day stint in live-in rehab, to avoid driving until she gets a valid license and to refrain from drinking to remain free on her own recognizance," Jon was quoted as telling the judge.

"She's trying one day at a time to do the right thing in respects to her life and facing whatever issues she may have," Jon told E! News of his celebrity client. "She's taking this case very seriously, and she's taking the issue of alcohol very seriously." Further detail of the rehab plan is not disclosed though.

Stephanie Pratt was arrested on suspicion of DUI on October 18 in Hollywood after attending a party for her sister-in-law Holly Montag's 26th birthday at Los Angeles hot spot Empire. The Spencer Pratt's sister was later on released on $5,000 bail. She was formally charged with DUI in late October and in addition to prison time, she is facing a $1,000 fine if she is convicted of the related charge.

Stephanie herself told People at the Maxim and Ubisoft launch of Assassin's Creed II in West Hollywood on Wednesday, November 11 that her DUI arrest has taught her some lessons. "It was the worst thing to happen to me and, at the same time, it was the biggest blessing," so she claimed.
