AceShowbiz - Come Sunday, November 1, "Avatar" will get a special treatment with what has been dubbed as "the world's biggest live trailer viewing". On Thursday, October 29, 20th Century Fox made public its plan to debut the trailer of the much awaited sci-fi film on the world's largest video display, the Cowboy Stadium's Diamond Vision Screen.

The three-minute-and-thirty-second trailer is set to play live before football fans crowd just minutes prior to the noon (CT) kick-off between the Dallas Cowboys and the Seattle Seahawks in the new Cowboy Stadium. Millions of others who watch FOX NFL Sunday will simultaneously be able to see the trailer on-air.

In addition to the special event, ninety-second commercial spots for the movie starring Sam Worthington will air throughout the day on all regional games, including the World Series game and all regional football games, carried by Fox affiliates. Meanwhile, the three-minute plus trailer itself has finally made its rounds online earlier Thursday, October 29.

"Avatar" is a live action movie directed, co-produced and written also by the "Titanic" helmer James Cameron. It lines up Sam Worthington as Jake Sully, Sigourney Weaver as botanist Dr. Grace Augustine, Stephen Lang as Marine Corps Colonel Quaritch, Zoe Saldana as Neytiri, Michelle Rodriguez as retired Marine pilot Trudy Chacon, and many others.

This 20th Century Fox film follows a paraplegic ex-marine as he is thrust unwillingly into an effort to settle and exploit an exotic planet rich in bio-diversity, who eventually crosses over to lead the indigenous race in a battle for survival. It is set to hit the U.S. theaters on December 18.
